Hace meses que estoy sacándome el carnet del coche. En mi tiempo libre, alternándolo con cuestiones de la facultad, la familia, el gimnasio y otras historias, y con la ilusión que genera conducir un vehículo, ganar en independencia y seguir progresando. Ya voy por el segundo examen del práctico y, como a todo el mundo, el tema me está saliendo por un pico... ¿y para qué? Pues la verdad, atendiando al precio que se paga por conducir un coche sin carnet, ponerlo a 180 Kms/h., atropellar a un peatón que camina por un paso de peatones, darse a la fuga, culpar a otro en su lugar, y no reconocer el delito hasta 6 meses después... no tengo muy claro para qué diablos me estoy sacando el citado carnet.
Viendo la sentencia del caso Farruquito... qué se puede decir. Si esto es lo que entendemos en este país por “justicia”, es que no tenemos muy claro el concepto o que hemos perdido el punto de mira hace mucho. Porque luego uno oye a los personajillos de la tele, denunciándose unos a otros por estupideces y, en caso de ganar (como le ha ocurrido a cierta señorita de la nobleza española), siendo premiados con dos millones de las antiguas pesetas por injurias y chorradas varias. La leche, vamos.
Teniendo en cuenta que a Farruquito lo condenan a 16 meses de cárcel (que no cumplirá) y a pagar 16 millones de las antiguas pesetas (perdonen que me repita, pero creo que nos seguimos entendiendo mejor en la moneda pasada), me pregunto cuánto vale la vida de un ser humano que no es famoso, ni sale en la tele, o la radio, o la prensa...
Visto lo visto, si esto es lo que en este país se entiende por “justicia”... es normal que haya gente que deje de creer en ella.

Bueno, no sé si ha pesado el nombre o es que la ley es así de blanda en este tipo de delito (una cosa es la imprudencia al conducir, y otra el delito y cobardía de huir). Este caso debería servir para que la ley - que no puede ser perfecta en su primera confección - sea modificada para que no vuelva a ocurrir (pasará y no saldrá en los periódicos).
Respecto al carné... ¡aprueba y ahorra dinero para la feria de Málaga, que está al caer! ;-)
